Improve HR processes, implement group strategies that support business growth, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and employers, manage job satisfaction, attract the best recruits and promote the organization’s values.

Overall management of the HR team and personnel in Sri Lanka to ensure our programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives.


o Implement the HR strategies across the Sri Lanka businesses to be consistent with the Group

o Support the strategic objectives

o Supervise and develop all HR personnel

o Manage employee grievances and disputes

o Design and refine onboarding procedures

o Support and enhance employee development through the Talent Management program

o Enhance job satisfaction and employee opportunities

o Forecast staffing needs and mitigate any exposure

o Hire staff and negotiating employment contracts

o Ensure compliance at all times with local labour laws and regulations

o Oversee and manage all HR initiatives such as performance reviews, talent management, setting objectives etc

o Maintain the HRIS with all HR records and ensure accuracy and efficiency

o Oversee salary reviews and benefits to ensure we stay aligned with the market

o Identify and co-ordinate training programs for all levels

Professional Qualifications and Qualities

o Degree with a specialisation in HR or a proven track record

o At least 15 years post qualification work experience in a similar role in a multi national company

o Highly organised and detail oriented

o Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities

o Proven track record working with staff across all levels of the business

o Superior interpersonal and people skills

o Good problem solving skills

o Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations

o Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

o Excellent communication and customer service skills

o Values driven with high integrity

o High level of business acumen
