Earth Day

Today is Earth Day, a day to celebrate and appreciate the wonder that is planet earth! Most days, we’re so busy and consumed with everyday life that we forget that we are all living on this earth, and that we all share a global community,

At Stretchline, we understand the importance of looking after our planet. That’s why we are always looking at ways to improve how we manufacture our products and how we manage our sites – we are currently rolling out LED light across all our sites and converting them to have a solar power supply unit. What’s more, we’re also looking at reducing our water consumption as well as eliminating the use of coal.

We know that as global company, it is our responsibility to do more and keep finding ways to improve how we operate. So, we have introduced sustainable yarns to customers and now offer the option to make any of our standard elastics with recycled or bio-degradable yarns. We have also started working with natural dyes and Bluesign approved suppliers to use eco compliant dyes.
We are proud to celebrate Earth Day, but we know that we must be conscious of our great planet every day. That’s why we are working hard to improve our sites and by the time Earth Day comes around next year, we will have even more projects that we are proud to speak about.
