What does your new job role entail?

In my new role, I am responsible for leading South Asia’s sales and marketing functions.

What is your background and what experience have you gained in your career so far?

I have been in the textile industry for 15 years now. As a result, I have a wealth of experience managing seamless product production and have exposure to knitting, dyeing, and sewing. My expertise lies in producing bra cups, speed models, and value-add products in intimates and sportswear.

What do you bring to the team?

I have a proven track record of establishing businesses from scratch, with experience in tier one and two supply chains. I hope to leverage this experience to optimise processes further and build on Stretchline’s success in South Asia.

Which partner are you most excited about working with and why?

All of them! Stretchline’s focus on innovation and problem-solving with our partners is an aspect I am most looking forward to. I’m excited to work with a wide range of companies, helping them solve the problems they face to ensure we always deliver the best products for the end-users.

What do you consider to be the most important leadership skill?

People management. Having a motivated and happy team is the key to success. No challenge is too big if you have an engaged team behind you!

Where do you see Stretchline in the next few years?

Stretchline is already known for making best-in-class elastic. For me, it will be about changing perceptions. My goal for Stretchline is to be viewed as a solution provider.

Outside of his professional life, Sandamal is an avid sportsman who enjoys camping, hiking, and off-roading. This means that, through his hobbies, he is also regularly exposed to our products as a consumer. You’ll be a great addition to the team, Sandamal.
